Anyone watching the games on ESPN2?
I never really watched soccer or (football) as the rest of the world calls it until the world cup a few years back. Only reason I watched it is because it was in HD. I really got into it.

The Netherlands is often called Holland. This is formally incorrect as North and South Holland in the western Netherlands are only two of the country's twelve provinces. As a matter of fact, many Dutch people colloquially use Holland as a synecdoche, being well aware of the widespread use of this name. I watch Germany beat Poland yesterday and I saw part of the Romania vs France game.

I think the Russia vs Spain game will be very good. Both teams attack, I think it will be high scoring. My prediction is 1-0 spain. lol

Germany had a bad game and Ballack was playing slightly injured to start. Add his eye injury and he definitely wasn't 100%. I would like to see that match again with Ballack at 100%. Just the energy he would bring Germany that seem to be lacking would make for a much better match.
