Well, that just pisses me off. I just bought my dad tickets to the BMW Championship here in September.

He'll still have a great time if he's a golf fan. There will be a large number of world class players there.

He definitely will. I don't know that Tiger always plays in that tournamet anyway. It's always cool to see all the different players in person if you're into golf.

Well it would probably have been 50/50 with the BMW. Its part of the PGA Tour's new "playoffs" (which I think are a joke by the way), and Tiger is the defending champion. You never know he might have taken it off anyway though.

You guys are going to get a kick out of this. I am an avid golfer, and huge golf fan, but this is just stupid. I was watching the golf channel and one of the commentators on their news show said this, and I'm paraphrasing:

"I spoke to someone close to Tiger, who said that he played the entire US Open with a stress fracture. I was told that the stress fracture occured due to his preparation for the US Open. Let me break that down for you folks. That basically means that Tiger works out so hard, he breaks bones! I've worked out with guys before, but Tiger is the only one who would work out so hard he breaks bones."

a stress fracture isn't a major break its just a fissure in the bone basically what they were saying is he has shin splints really bad....he does train with sprints and long distance running which is how he got them.

A stress fracture is a small crack. it's nothing compared to shin splints.

Well, it's actually part of the Fedex Cup, so I would imagine he would've played it. I know it will still be fun, and I'm going with. I really wanted to see him as well. And, I'm just disappointed because the last time he came here was a couple days befor e9/11. Needless to say, the event was canceled.
