Peanut Butter Crap! lol
So I thought I would try something new with my chicken today. I cut up my chicken and Sauteed it with some Extra Virgin Olive Oil then I got the idea to add in a little Natural Peanut Butter so I could have some PB chicken! lol. Let me tell you, this shit tasted like a Peanut Butter Turd. Nasty! Dont try this at home. :thumbsdow

Not that I am any culinary expert, but I have been a fan of peanut sauces before. I think the important missing ingredient might have been soy sauce. Sounds weird, but soy sauce and peanut butter work together. Thai food is big on that. Maybe worth a try.....
Either way, natty PB is the shit. |

:laughnew: I'm pretty sure I could eat chicken for many decades to come without that crossing my mind but thanks for the info! I suppose I've tried some weird stuff when I'm hungry. Adding PB to foods is just a hard combo to work well though--adding it to oatmeal almost works OK.

Damn man, you come up with the craziest ideas.
I eat mine with a guacamole that I make at home. Basicly just get the seasoning and two avacados, mush the 'cados and add the seasoning and mix. It's not hard at all and tastes better than any store bought crap, where they add sugar and nasty stuff. |

RippedK had it right - use the PB but also some soy sauce and spicy BBQ sauce. I have a great recipe that uses this - marinate sliced chicken breast in the mixture and then put on skewers to BBQ.

Bouncer - here is the recipe:
mix 2/3 cup of hot BBQ sauce, 1/3 cup soya sauce and 1/3 cup pb. Throw in your sliced chicken, stir it up and then let it sit for at least 30 minutes. Then thread the chicken onto the skewers and grill. I've made this for people who didn't even realize there was peanut butter in it. Very tasty. |

Add the PB to your General TSO's chicken recipe. Just add 1-2 tbsp to your recipe you posted here for 10-12 chicken tenders. I also like to add some almonds instead of the typical sesame seeds etc.
I know your recipe was essentially fat free due to your insulin shots but if you ever come off that this is an excellent addition to the original recipe. By the way, PB is in almost all of the General TSO's recipes for a typical Chinese recipe. :bbq: |

You should try some honey mustard on your chicken too.

I discovered something that tastes like a Resee's peanut butter cup. Chocolate pudding (sugar-free or fat-free, or even a thick chocolate protein powder pudding) nice and cold and then take a teaspoon of natty pb and drop it in a serving of pudding. As you eat it grab a little bit of the pb with the pudding...yummm!
