Marinades
Anyone got any good ones that you make from scratch? I have one that I use that is mango lime from the healthfood store, but want some homemade recipes to cut back on the sodium in the pre bottled stuff.
I have alot good marinades that are bottled, but will have to bid farewell to them, too many cals in them. grrrrrrrr

You can mix some olive oil, red wine vinager and some pepper. If it's too tangy for you just add a little splenda.

You could look at a lot of different infused dressing that you can make and adjust the salt.

De-seed (but don't peel) a thin-skinned Meyer lemon. Toss it in the blender or food processer with a handful of raw garlic cloves. Add olive oil and some white wine. You can also add herbs to taste, or fresh parsley. Amazing marinade.

I love well seasoned meat. I usually dump the marinades on meat for a few days and then cook....
