Tofu
Anyone eat tofu. Didnt realize it was so high in protein.
Beans (including soy): Tofu, ½ cup 20 grams protein Tofu, 1 oz, 2.3 grams Soy milk, 1 cup - 6 -10 grams Most beans (black, pinto, lentils, etc) about 7-10 grams protein per half cup of cooked beans Soy beans, ½ cup cooked – 14 grams protein Split peas, ½ cup cooked – 8 grams |

none of those protein sources are complete proteins. aka, not the kind of protein that builds muscle.

Tofu is soy protein - that's why

any type of animal protein is a complete protein. (beef, chicken, fish, eggs, dairy etc..)
plant type proteins are not complete proteins. |

so you would have to combine thoses foods to make them complete

well i looked it up and apparently i am wrong. soy protein is a complete protein after all.
i do have my doubts that tofu can build muscle as well as say beef or chicken. |
