my green bean recipe

Empty a can of french style green beans into a bowl and microwave for 2-3 minutes. Drain well. I usually let it drain for 30 minutes, I hate watery tasting beans. Put them back in the bowl and add some vinegar and olive oil. Shave off a little bit of hard cheese, some thinly sliced onion, and some walnuts. Mix together and you have a great tasting concoction.

I often chnage vinegars for a change. Sometimes balsamic, sometimes red wine vinegar, and sometimes a raspberry vinegar. There are lots of different vinegars on the market. Buy the good stuff and you will not believe how much better it tastes than the cheapo grocery store junk. I buy from this place........

No, I don't own the place or have any interest in it other than they make a great product.

Of course, you can leave out the cheese if you wish.......

Texas Roadhouse has the best green beans EVER - I usually make other people order them if they don't want their side/s just so I can have more

I know it is off topic but I couldn't help it - they're that good

As a side note, the same ingredients apply to a spinach salad. I switch between the two for variety, and both are good for you too!
