erythromycin for acne

has any1 tried it for acne? its alot cheaper than minocycline

No but my girl just got prescribed to it for an eye infection. She has a stye and had to put it in her eyeball.

Excessive does of b-vitamins causes acne also...especially on the back and shoulders

Erythromycin tens to be a second line antibiotic for acne, along with trimethoprim, so well worth a try. If they fail, something very effective is Isotretinoin, also known as Roaccutane. Hope this helps.

minocycline works very well to get rid of acne. It worked for me in less than a week.

Yeah I was using minocycline in highschool, it worked really well just be careful because I found that it can dry out your skin esp. in the winter months.
