Do you compliment your s/o?
The other morning I went to kiss Stromba goodbye as I was leaving for work and he told me I looked pretty. I left the house smiling thinking how sweet he is to me. He does this a lot, giving me nice compliments all the time (not just about how I look, but even complimenting on a meal and other stuff) and it really makes me feel good. Even when we talk on the phone I'll say something like, "Hello, Handsome!" and he giggles. It's just such a simple thing we do and I think many people don't realize how nice it is, especially if you've been together for a while, many people just start taking eachother for granted and the sweet stuff you did when you were dating fades away.
Now, go call your s/o or go over to them and give them a compliment and make them smile.

I must confess I do it just about everyday. I tell her she looks good...Smells good. When she cleans i always tell her the house looks great. I love my wife she is a awesome person and great mother. She is great with our kids and all. So i have to always have to let her know oh and i usually get her some kind of flowers at least once a week sometimes i suprise her and get her a card instead. Got to mix it up so she doesn't know what to expect

I think I would do it regularly but not too often; I think if you do it all the time, it can become a bit routine, and maybe the compliments will be taken for granted and lose their meaning.

Missery loves company, instead of starting things out on a sour note and having it carry through the evening, when you see your partner, why not just make nice with them, ya know? It sets the tone for the rest of the time you're together.
