SHIT HIT THE FAN THIS WEEKEND
WELL I DID IT....I LET MY TEMPER GET THE BEST OF ME. ME AND MY GIRLFRIEND GOT INTO IT THIS FRIDAY NIGHT AND SHE HIT ME IN THE STOMACH AND I SHOVED HER. HER FRIEND CALLED THE COPS AND I GOT ARRESTED FOR DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AND CRIMINAL MISCHIEF BECAUSE I KICKED THE SIDE DOOR IN ON OUR HOUSE.
I SPENT FRIDAY NIGHT IN JAIL, DRESSED IN ORANGE, IN THE MAIN POPULATION OF COUNTY JAIL. HAD TO SLEEP ON THE COLD CONCRETE FLOOR. I HATE THAT BITCH NOW. ITS OVER. O2

Shit, I know from personal experience that if you're a big dude even yelling at some guy in a parking lot ("Hey Asshole, fuck you!") you can get in shit, because everyone says you look threatening (like you're gonna beat his ass). I CAN'T imagine the world of shit someone like me would be in if I were to shove a woman... The judge will surely bury you under the jail bro. DrG

I FOUND OUT....THEY THOUGHT RIGHT OFF THE BAT SHE WAS THE VICTIM. SHE PUNCHED ME IN THE STOMACH FIRST. I KNOW I SHOULD HAVE LEFT. I JUST SHOVED HER OFF OF AND AWAY FROM ME. HER FRIEND CALLED THE COPS. I LEFT THINKING I WAS DOING RIGHT TO GO AND COOL DOWN. BUT LITTLE DID I KNOW THAT LEAVING WAS EVEN WORSE TO DO. THE POLICE SAID BY LEAVING I ADMITTED I WAS GUILTY. BY STAYING THERE WE COULD HAVE DROPPED CHARGES ON EACH OTHER. BUT BY LEAVING THE COPS PICKED ME UP DOWN THE ROAD AND THE CITY PUT CHARGES ON ME NOT MY GIRLFRIEND. PRETTY SHITTY LAWS WE HAVE.
I HAD TO GO TO JAIL AND HAVE A CAVITY SEARCH NAKKED, PUT INTO AN ORAGE JUMPSUIT, SLEEP ON THE CONC. FLOOR, AND BE TREATED WORSE THAN ANY ANIMAL I HAVE EVER SEEN. ILL NEVER GO BACK THERE AGAIN AS LONG AS I LIVE. EVER. O2

I've been in a detox tank and they gave me a mat. But I went in to common over night I actually had a cot and a short blanket. But they were city jails, so that may be the difference.

Dude, a bit of advice....if you're big, get smaller ASAP! Intense cutting w/o gear, lots of thermogenics, ect. You'll look better in the eyes of the judge at trial that way. If, after all that, you still look really big, try to hold a ton of water before trial so you just look like a fat guy rather than a jakked guy.

I'll be the first woman to comment on this...
First of all, the "She hit me first defense" is BULLSHIT. I don't care if she beat you over the head with a frying pan, you don't touch her! Second of all, you are at least 10x's stronger and more powerful than she is. Which already makes you a threat without you laying a finger on her. When my husband and I get into a fight, I'll be honest and say even though he's never laid a finger on me, I still feel threatened when we get in an argument. He has no history of violence, but it is extremely intimidating for a woman to have a serious or heated discussion with a muscle monster and not be afraid. I work out just as hard as he does, and sure, I'm strong too. BUT the difference is I know he could crush me like a bug...and that's what everyone sees..that's what the cops see, that's what her friend saw...they saw potential for violence. Shoving her, the door, etc. I'm not condoning what she did...what she did is not the way to resolve anything. It sounds to me as though it was a destructive relationship and things could have ended up much worse.

I would have embraced her anger with love. Because that's what I do best.
Plus, it's hard to be combative when someone is hugging you and whispering that they love you and stuff. It takes the fight right out of them.

Women shouldn't be swinging on guys...no doubt. I think a simple shove or restraint hold is perfectly acceptable as self-defense, as it allows a man his right to prevent himself from being injured...while at the same time not placing the woman in any real danger of being seriously hurt. The justice system has been slow to adapt to being blind to gender...so guys just have to be really careful about not overdoing it when defending themselves. That being said, any man should cut a woman loose if this is her way of dealing with her anger, because it's not worth the potential legal hassle of trying to prove that you were only defending yourself. Even if you go to court and win, which is hard enough, you still loose because of the hit your reputation takes (unfarily) and the money you have to pay your lawyer.

Looks like the tempers are brimming on this one... Probably because some people have previous experience with these situations. Calm down people, this was O2BESOHUGES vent post
 . Coming from a home where my father beat my mother within inches of her life and I had to step up to the plate at 15 years old to stand up for her to finally make it stop (violently I must admit), I know firsthand how strong emotions can be regarding the subject. Redsquirrel, I think Timber and the other dude were so vehement because at first glance it could be assumed your opinion was that you were using double standards (i.e, it's okay for a woman to strike a man, but not vice versa). Timber, I don't think this was Redsquirrels intention. But it's not something to be at each others throats about... I don't think it has anything to do with them feeling like a "real man", I think they felt it was an injustice... My personal opinion is that when you can maul somebody, the authorities are going to ream you if you strike them. Is it okay for a woman to start swinging? No. Is it okay to manhandle them if they do? No, not really... nobody is the "winner" if it comes to that. Best thing to do with a violent woman is just grab her wrists, get ready to twist to one side or the other to avoid a kick in the balls, sit her down, and not be too rough in the process. If you've trained in martial arts with submissions, DON'T USE THEM, if I put someone in a guillotine and choked them out, THATS ASSAULT. If they're hellbent on attacking you, you call the cops and keep your distance... because you can BET that if it escalates YOU'LL be the one in jail if you don't.

Now you are missing the point redsquirrel. They did not say to beat the womens ass they just said the women has no right to hit the man period. If they can hit us we can;t defend ourselves wake the fudk up. That is bullshit. My exphysco bitch swung a large hard women boot at me and hit me in the arm. I pushed her onto the bed and backed away and told her to fucken relax. She called the cops the next day and had be arrested for spousal abuse but you know what the DA dropped the case cause of lack of evidence and because the bitch struck first at me not to mention the bottle of perfume she broke behind me on the wall shattering me with glass.
Let me close this by saying I have never struck a women the 45 years I have been breathing and I never will. I was raised to belive that a man never hits a women. However we do not have to get abused by these fucken nuts and take it. You spend 3 days in the felony section of a jail and tell me how you feel then. I never even had a fucken record before that.. The laws in most states favor now and the women are getting away with murder when it comes to DV cases.
