Thanks a lot for the responses but The only problem with the anabolical website is that it isnt r-ala, its just ala.

I buy the powder from these guys. I have a hard time finding it in their catalogue so I always call my orders in. 20 grams for something like 13 bucks.

powder degrades when exposed to air, light and heat, etc. IMO ALA is just as good. Both increase glucose disposal )to both fat and muscles, so best time is to take them pre and pwo period, when nutrient signaling to muscles is highest. 200mgs of r-ALA or 600mgs of ALA per 50g of carbs is the usual figure. ALA more than twice as cheap as r-ALA, and I have noicted no difference between the two.

Check out juvenon.com. They have a product with Alpha Lipoic Acid AND Acetyl-L Carnitine together. Supposedly, these two chemicals together are more beneficial. I've checked buying the chemicals seperately and they're no cheaper. Also, the proper ratio of ALA and Acetyl-LCarnitine is supposed to enhance their performance. BB

For r-ala, i thought it was 100 mg for every 10 carbs?

100mg/25-40g of carbs is the general ratio- best to play around with it to see what works best for you.
