Glutamine supplementation
Hey, I heard that it is a good idea to supplement with 10grams of glutamine per day and i'm curious what your guy's take is on that.
Also I take optimum whey proten and I believe it naturally contains glutamine in it, about 4.4 grams per scoop but not sure. Well I usually have about 3 scoops a day. So should i also be taking straight glutamine powder for 10 grams with my protein shakes or am I good with the 3 scoops. Thanks |

Do a search for glutamine and you will get more info than you want. There is quite a bit of research results shared here on the role of glutamine in active adults.

i personally stopped taking glutamine the past year and have not noticed anything. there is some contradictory research on it also and i believe yellowjacket has an article or a thread on this
