Question on water weigth

I was recently in a disscussion on another board about the issue of creatine causing water weight. I personally belive it does make you hold excess water. When it was bruoght upo I got shot down . Two or three people said they didnt have a problem with water weight. One person A well respeceted board member) agreeed that creatine does not cause a gain in water weigt. I just dont see hoew this is possible. My last run of creatine was a great success althoug I did have puffy nipples a little puffienes around the face, abs etc. After I got off it all went away and I lost 10 lbs in 1 week What gives?

Some people hold more water than others.

I can gain fat, yet with diet shed it quickly, good for me, it is hard for others.

I also can hold an extra 10 lbs of water easy. All I would have to do is cheat for a week, I wouldn't gain any fat, yet all the sodium in the food I'd put on ten easy. Next week if I watched sodium I'd shed half of it, and week after it would all be gone.

Everyone reacts differently to different stuff, if that is what your body does, that is what it does.

Good Luck

I understand that .I may not have worded it right but I guess what I am asking is bottom line does creatine make a person hold water. They said it definatly does not.

If it does you, than it's true.

Creatine fills up the inside of muscle fibers with water, if you're prone to it, you get spill over.

Remember there's tons of super lean guys out there that lift, and never gain an ounce of fat or hold water, so in their mind, it doesn't, they are not norm or average.
