A small pool here:
Has any of you tried the one rep method, with decreasing rest time to improve your strength? ie if your max is 250 lbs, do ten sets of one rep @ 250, rest let's say 1 min. Next session, do the same with 45 sec rest .... to reach the 10 reps set. Any feedback? TIA

if you can do 250....rest and then do 250 again.....rest and keep doing this for 10 sets then 250 is not your max.

if you were doing your true max then you would not be able to do it 10 times like that.

If 1 thinks their max is 250 then i would start within the range of 300 for strength gains and continue within this range(300/down) to failure making sure enough stress is kept on the muscle.
