Working a particualr bodypart 2x's a week
Lets say my arms need a little more work aside from my back and chest and legs. Thebig muscle like legs, back, and chest are awesome. But when i work out the arms and shoulders once a week, i feel them all soft and weak. When i work them out, they stay hard and vieny for 2 days and then getr soft. Would working them out 2 times a week bring them out more. I really feel that for my size my arms are lacking a little bit. I currently got 17 inch arms downfrom being 19" in August. I have them big but look normal. WHen i flex is when u could see all those cuts and all.

if i feel a body part is lagging then i will hit it 3 times a week. No more then for two weeks though and i wouldnt do this without being on some sort of aas.
my last cycle i did chest/tri's 3x/week for the first two weeks of my cycle and then only trained them once/week very lightly for then next two weeks and then did 3x/week for two more weeks.......so it was a 2 weeks on/2 weeks off sort of routine.

you are young enough that you can do 2 strong workouts a week for a couple of months for the lagging muscles. Then back off to 1 a week for 2 -4 weeks.
Because triceps should make up about 2/3 of the arm size, be sure they get rest. They can easily get overworked from isolated tri exercises and chest work and shoulders work. |

I work out bi's and tri's twice a week. I do bi's with back on day 1 and tri's with chest on day 2, then on day 5 of my split I do bis and tris again. When I started doing this I really noticed a difference. Although, on back and chest days I don't do more then 4-6 sets of bis and tris respectively.

Dude, I so know what you are talking about. I haven't been able to get my arms to react to anything lately, I am so stuck....

I honestly think if you work arms twice a week it could be overtrained because arms are such as small muscle...I just say go heavier with strict form...More is not "always " better!
