My girlfriend has recently started going to the gym with me, and I was wondering what type of workout I need ot put her on. She is 5'4 120 and 20%bf. She doesn't really want to lose more than 3 pounds, but she does want to lose fat off her torso and legs. She has never worked out before, or played any sports but is pretty diehard at working out with me and seems to enjoy it. She wants to workout 4 times a week and only wants to be in there around hour - hour & 1/2. If anyone could help me set her up a workout I would be extremely grateful.
P.S. Right now I have her doing around 20 minutes of cardio and a different set of muscles every day i.e. cardio/chest; cardio/arms; cardio/legs; cardio/back&shoulders. I make her do most of her sets 12-20 reps.

you can continue her on a body part per day split like you have. but i would do the cardio at the end, and i would train heavier and go towards 8-10 reps.
in order to get the look she wants (probably leaner and more "defined") she will need to build muscle. so - in addition to working out, are you having her eat more? 5-6 smaller meals during the day. eating enough protein to build muscle? |

I leave her alone on the eating, she gets pissed when I try to talk to her about it. She eats like crap, 1 big meal a day and then she just grazes on crap throughout the day. But we get into alot of fights so I have learned I automatically lose in that area

well, i have to say that whatever she does, if she doesn't eat right - she won't see much change. she can bust her ass at the gym, but if she's eating like the way you're saying she does, she won't get results period.
