Massage the day after training?

Hi all,

Question: Is it a good or bad idea to get a massage the day or two after a good workout. I hit it hard 2 days ago, and had a massage last night. By this time my muscles were pretty sore, and it did feel good. But I don't want to loose any gains because of it (or any other negative consequences).

Thanks for the help/advice.

LH

I don't see any physical way you could possibly lose gains from having a massage. Unless the masseur was really crap and managed to injure you and put you out of action for a month or two
