you work out in the morning like me... what are your thoughts on it inhibiting gains?
i keep reading stuff on how your cortisol levels are elevated and that you are over-stressing your body... but i acutally wake up more after a good morning workout, when i go and just do cardio, i'm drag assy. comments? |

I've been thinking about switching to morning workouts since I eat more during the day. I would like to hear as well.

I've thought about this as well, but I feel the lack of carbs would be detrimental to my workout. I'd say as long as you do cardio after your workout, you'll help to flush out a lot of cortisol.

i have made up lifting sessions in the evenings when i've only had time to do cardio in the mornings and i feel that i don't suffer any major strength changes if i lift at 5AM or 5PM.
i mean, i know theoretically that you're "strongest" at certain times of the day... but - i mean, it's not like it's a powerlifting match... it shouldn't matter that much right? |
