Barbell row form
I was looking through exercise form videos, and i saw this one.
http://www.infinityfitness.com/videos/upper/bbrow.asf Isnt this form incorrect? It appears she is pulling it backwards, i thought that bb rows were an up and down motion.

That is a correct variance of the excercise, yes. But, near impossible to do when you get some weight on the bar.

It's reverse grip shoulder width apart, knees at about a 30 degree angle, back about 70 degree angle. Pulling motion from bar verticaly aligned with shoulders and pulling bar back to the waste.

When you all do them ,do you bend over so your torso is parallel to the ground or do you keep your back at a 70 degree angle w/ the ground?
The posted article recommended being parallel w/ the ground, but i have usually done then w/ a 60-70 degree angle.

One of the most common misconceptions of the row is that you pull the bb or db straight up to your chest. Many people don't realize that you're supposed to pull to your hip and with your elbow to utilize the lats. This is especially common with the db rows. I see guys in the gym yanking like they're trying to start a lawn mower and bouncing weight off their chest.
