I recently had the same thing happen, but it's because I tweaked something in my back or neck that's causing the headaches.

Do you get the headaches during or after the workout? If it's during, I would make sure your blood pressure is not high-I used to have high BP and it only gets higher during a workout, which can be dangerous.

bonebreaker is on a distinguished road
I know this may sound crazy, but are you holding your breath when you really push? If you don't have a good breathing technique and hold your breath when straining, it pushes too much blood to your brain too fast, and that could cause your headaches. BB

Actually, come to think of it. You can probably determine if it's a blood pressure headache based on where the headache is located. If I remember correctly, BP headaches are primarily around the eyes-front of the head anyway, not back of the head. Back of the head would be more something caused by the back/neck or tension (which is indirectly back or neck anyway).

That is a good point dude and this may sound stupid but my old lifting belt has gotten a little tight lately so I think that may have something to do with it. I went and bought a new one that is a better fit... Will use the tried and true belt when slim down a little..good point..thanks BB

I was getting a massive headache when doing stiff legged deads. It's gone now, but my form and breathing were on point so I didn't know what it was. SC said it very possibly could've been pooling of the blood from doing full body movements.

Thanks SC, I see that I am not the only one.. When I was younger.. I used to think that this was a good thing, means you are training hard... but as I am a little older and wiser.. I don't necessarilly think that the massice headaches or the nausea are good....

I used to have the same thing happen during every leg workout, I switched the order of my leg workout and it hasn't happend since.

But now I get a throbbing headache behind my right eye the day after certain workouts, normally about 24 hours after, such as Back and sometimes even after a Biceps workout. I think it is being caused by possibly a pinched nerve or something in my neck, my wife has told me to go see a doctor about it, but I hate to hear that that is the case and him telling me to quit working out.

Is this an excersise induced headache or just something tweaked in my neck or back?

Anyone else ever get this?

V

an EIH is PAINFUL and almost crippling to a point. kind of like a migraine where you will be able to tell the difference.

The nausea seems like goes hand in hand with leg training. I always get nauseaus it seems and just have to fight through it. Don't think there's anything you can do about it.
