Knee Problems

I have always had a bum right knee for as long as I can remember. I think it may be genetic as my dad has bad knees as well. I never really thought about as it was never a major problem until the past couple of months since I have started wrestling again. Today I think I smurfed up pretty bad as the bitch is killing me. Not even the joy of making a Rocky Road Muscle Milk shake can take away form the pain.

I think my problem is that I did squats today with the power rack and not on the smith machine as per usual. Anybody ever have this problem when going form machine to rack?

Actually, smith machine is harder on your knees bro. Free weights lets you tailor the excerise to your body's build, rather than having a locked plane of direction.

I've been debating on cutting out full squata period and do leg presses and front squats. I'm 6'2 so I have a higer center anyhow and with my wrestling career starting to come online again, I don't need to screw myself up.
