Hammer Strengh Incline 340lb
I always ben such a bad bencher with free weights. I decided t o start using the hammer strength chest machines and I threw up 340 on the incline. It was kinda cool with almost having 8 plates on the thing. People wer like staring at me like it wAS SUCH ALOT OF WEIGHT. If i bench on the bar i can only do 225lb for like 7 reps

Kinda like the difference between a leg press on a sled and a real free weight squat. While you're hitting the same basic muscle group it's in a very different way. It's almost always gonna be more weight on the machine type because of leverage, stabilizer muscles, effect of pulleys or cams etc....
