I take a break after every workout, LOL. 3 to 4 days. I take about two 2 week breaks throughout the year even though I only train every 3-4 days anyway. Its just mostly mental recuperation and I try to take them when I get really sick.

no I follow prescribed exercise protocol/theory. www.exercisecertification.com

it is involved and a long process but I got to know my body a lot better, takes the guess work out of what is working and what isn't. Conan always tried to get me to train with him, LOL. He used to hate to watch me work out.

ski is on a distinguished road
I only take breaks when I absoulutely feel I need one due to burn out or getting in a rut.

I`m usually raring to hit the gym in about a week or so.

Breaks are good and they give the joints and tendons a well deserved rest!

I haven't taken a break since March. I am going to take a week off as soon as I finish PCT.

i take a rest week about every four weeks. i dont stop training altogether, but rather cut the sets and reps in half and only go to the gym 3 times. Sinse i started doing this, my strength has gone waaay up and i have much more energy in my workouts.

so just imagine what you could do if you put more rest in between your regular workouts........
