Two Questions (Supersets....backs/shoulders)
my first question is how often a week should i or can i do supersets...I just recently started doing them and i feel it 10 times more then I have on any regular work out in recent memory....Someone in my last thread some people don't recommend doing supersets too often, is that true?
2nd is regarding back and shoulder workouts.... currently my schedule is like this M - CHEST T - ARMS W - LEGS T - SHOULDERS F - BACK but i hit my upper back in both shoulders and back days....so should I stick a rest day in between shoulders and back or should i perform shoulder and back exercises in one workout? |

You could do supersets every day if you wanted. Doing two large muscles is not advised from me though. Do a large and small or two small muscles.

in my opinion i wouldnt do supersets too often. supersets are designed to shock your muscles into growth. they are also very demanding of your body, to do these 5 days a week will most likely result in overtraining. my general rule for supersets is no more than once a month. |

I was given a routine from an advanced trainer, SilverBack is his screen name, and it has me doing supersets for arms every week. I am making good progress on it too.
