dead lifts and maybe "chalfonts"

hI I WAS DOING HEAVY DEADLIFTS THE OTHER DAY AND AS I WAS STRAINING TO DO THE LIFT, THINK I GOT HEMAROIDS, WHAT DO I DO? DO THEY GO AWAY? HAS ANYBODY HAD THIS PROBLEM?

WHAT ABOUT THE REAL POWERLIFTERS, IS THIS A REGULAR OCCURANCE.

WILL I NEED AN OP OR SOMETHING

THIS IS NO JOKE.

Yeah, unfortunately, I can commiserate with your situation. I have had the same thing happen during deadlifts when I am straining very hard. There's nothing to do but wait for them to go away--and sit on one cheek for the next two weeks! For me, I just have to focus on breathing correctly during the lifts and not straining as hard. I can still lift the same weight-it's hard to describe the difference in the technique--I just have to think about making it a smoother and less strenuous action.

Until they're gone, I would think about using less weight and doing higher reps, though.

How far apart do you space your feet? Maybe try changing that and see what happens. Try going closer or going wider. Other than that, I wouldn't know what else.

if this isn't a joke. you are using the wrong muscle sequence if your ass is straining. Drop the weight and lift correctly.
