training problem
hey guys, ok, i have been on a training routine that i need some imput on, im working out each muscle group once a week, i have done some searches on this site and i havent found a good answer yet, i was wondering if working out each muscle group a week is too little and if i should be training them twice a week. im currently trying something new and working out my entire body twice a week cuz i feel like im wasting time i could be training. what is an ideal training routine to gain as much mass as posible. i dont wanna over train so if anyone could help me it would be awesome, thanks guys!

This depends on a few things. Over all volume is a big one, your recovery ability is another. Say you train once a week and each muscle gets 9 sets that day. When you switch over to a program that trains the muscle twice a week, you will most likely have to drop volume down to half even less each day. So, you will train each muscle for 3 sets, twice a week.
It really depends. I have gone back to an upper/lower body split. I love them. |

I think once a week with about 3 exersices per body part is good enough if you go heavy. It gives you time to rest
