Leg routine?
Changing my leg routine and was wondering if I were to do about six sets of squats and six sets lying leg curls, if that would be effective enough?

I think that this could be effective for a week just to mix things up, but I personally wouldn't use that as a weekly routine long term.

What I'm wanting is a solid, quick, and effective routine, so, I don't have to spend alot of time in the gym. Every time I do legs I get light headed and I can't continue cause my head hurts so damn bad.

What opinions are there on doing quads on one day and hams on another. I didn't think about doing it that way.

I agree with beefcake, legs take pushing yourself beyond the pain to really see results. I expect to feel nauseous and light-headed--if I don't I push myself harder.

I agree with the pain and feeling nauseous but my head starts throbing. I have heard it's because the lack of blood flow to the brain because the legs are a big muscle group and at the far end of the body. But, I don't know.

Yeah, my head hurts like that only when I do heavy squats, but after reading that post it might be my breathing because I know when I do heavy weights all I'm thinking about is getting the weight back up, not paying any attention to my breathing.
