what are your favorite hammy workouts im looking for something new and wondered what you guys like?

i hate them all, lol...I can never get a good squeeze. The best contraction I get is when I do weighted hyper-extensions but that is mostly just an isometeric for them. other than that I do lunges and prone leg curls every other leg workout. but mine still suck.

Try some ham/glute raises. They are killer!
To perform, you need to get onto your knees. Then, place something, usually a piece of gym equipment, over top of your heels to hold you in place. Then, you lean forward, then back. It takes a shit load of balance and strength, but they will make your hams strong as hell. For compound movements, nothing beat good ol' stiff legged deads. |

thats what ive been doin for 12 years deads and prone curls. i dont know any others so i was lookin for something like shorts said. sounds like a prone leg curl but shit ill give it a try. thanks! anything else?

What shortz is talking about will murder your hams!! If you have a training partner or buddy in the gym they can hold you feet too. Just go as slow as you can on the desent..
