im pretty sure there was just a recent record of 1025lbs. i know it was 900 something for awhile. i will see if i can find the info.

Do they have raw bench press records? I wonder how much gene can do without the shirt.

The link in the other post said that Mendelson holds it at 767 (I think). He is up to trying 900, but all of these guys now use the bench shirts not only because it makes them stronger, but it holds their deltoids in place. Without the shirt, they risk blowing their deltoids and ripping out their rotator cuff.
