Healing Tendon damage
I've been training for a timed run and Injured tendons in both knees. Heavy anti-inflammers help but healing is taking a little to long. Been out of commission for 1 1/2 weeks and can still barely walk. I hate complete bed rest but it helps. My Gf is a massage therapist so I'm kinda lucky. Just wondering what else i can do besides nothing. I need to be in shape for these runs. Plzz just some helpful advise. Thanks

Any type of tendon trouble will only worsen without rest. Weeks are not enough and depending on the grade of damage it could take a few months. I know you were probably looking for some way to work out and let it heal, but it just simply will not happen, sorry.

Hey thanks. I really think bed rest is the only way to go. I felt fine today untill I had to get my truck worked on. Ibuprophen and heat seam to help alot.
