Sciatic Nerve
Can anyone recommend any good excercises to do for a person who has a sciatic nerve problem that's bothering them. They heard that strengthening the abdominal area might help take pressure off of it, but is there anything else of benefit?

The pressure is usually due to inflamation. Corticosteroids can reduce the inflamation. Hanging by the feet or knees (decompression) is also good. Exercise would only be usefull if a muscular imballance was affecting the spinal alignment and thus causing the inflamation. If you have a disk problem it's probably a no-go.
