joints hurt

I have been on my bulking program since August 1st, my right shoulder, right elbow, and my right knee are all hurting to the point were I can't lift heavy. I was going to take a couple of weeks of the heavy lifting, but wasn't sure if I should cut back on the calories and lift lighter or.... Any suggestions would help.

Ironweb will become famous soon enough
I would suggest changing the exercises you are doing that hurts your joints. I spent a year switching exercises because of my shoulder joint hurting. I did not stop just switched things up. If the pain becomes unbearable then you may want to consult a physician to make sure all is well. However lifting and joint pain goes hand and hand at times.

In addition to taking time off and/or changing routines, I have found that increasing fluid intake and supplementing with glucosamine and chondroitin also helps.

I would take actual time off if you are hurting that bad. at least a 1 week. Even with lighter lifting you will not be letting whatever is hurting recover properly and as soon as you go back heavy it will start to hurt again.

If you have health insurance, and you say the pain is almost two months old, I'd have a Dr. take a peek just to make sure. That way you'll know for sure. As the old saying goes, "an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure". BB
