ROCKILLER is on a distinguished road
Deads

Quick question concerning dead lifts. I'm currently on control's low volume routine that he posted a while back and I have been doing deads bending my knees as I go down. I like this because I get my legs and my back. Should I be alternating this with stiff legged deads, do some of both, etc. Just a thought I had while at the gym today.

Use proper form on the SLDL's on whatever day you work hamstrings, as this is what your main focus should be by performing SLDL's (sure your lower back and other muscles get a little workout but the focus should be on the HS's). Regular DL's work out really well for me on my back day but they hit such a large portion of my body (Hamstrings, Glutes, Lower Back, Upper Back, Traps ETC) that I have to be careful what I train the days before and after DL's...

If you want to do DL's and minimize Hamstring involvement just try partial DL's where the weight doesn't go all the way to the floor etc....

If all else fails, since you are using Contol's program, ask Control......

That's fine, you're working the legs and back on that day. If you have access to a trap-bar you can do trap-bar deads (once you get a feel for them they're actually better than barbell deads IMO)
