Shin Protection
I was watching some strongman competition and the event was the deadlift. I noticed a couple of competitors had these like spandex wraps around their shins, almost like an elbow sleeve. Are there specific shin wraps, or were they a differnt type of wrap just used this way. I thought it would be nice to have for deadlift days, instead of sometimes bleeding on the bar at the gym and getting weird looks.

AFAIK, the big socks (soccer, rugby, football) are mandatory at PL meets in my area...I just wear pants.
