Pulled something....

I was at the gym doing dumbell raises and my second set fucked my back up. I got a phone call for a interview and I rushed my last 2 sets and I think I pulled something in my back on my right side. I felt it fuck up when I went up with the dumbell and it's been killing me all day ever since. I can't move my right arm or twist without pain in my back.. It sucks. It's my fault for rushing through a exersise and I was out of form when it happened.

What's the best way to work it out? I think I might go to the doc cuz the shit hurts like a mother..

Deep tissue massage can sometimes help that kind of thing, but usually it just goes away on it's own. Is it up high, near your spine kind of?

actually it's exactly right there.. The pain isn't constant like it was yesterday but the wrong move or twist hurts like hell today.

Dude, I've had the exact same thing a couple times. I don't know how you did it doing raises though, I did it deadlifting. It'll go away....

If you can get a perscription for flexiril, take it with 800mg of Ibuprofin. Works wonders when i pull or strain a muscle. Plan on staying home cause it knocks you on your ass or take it at night.

I still have some flexiril from my last injury.. Those things are nice if you can't sleep at night too.
