Is my workout good or bad?
Hey i am 17, turning 18 in a few days and i have been working out since June '05. I noticed my bf% has dropped i have gained muscle, but my weight has been the same since last year (208lbs). I am 6ft and as of June '05 i have had 20%bf. I did take off two months becuz i moved and now i am training harder than ever. I eat 5 meals a day all healthy stuff. I know about the nutrition.
Workout: Mon- chest, shoulders tues- 1hr cardio wed- bi's, tri's thurs-1hr cardio fri-back, legs I am trying to bulk up and i have seen small results in the past few months. I know about "shocking" my muscles and I do that time to time. I just want to know f i am doing everything the right way, and what would u change about my daily routine, thanks. |

IMO its good that you have cardio in there, but don't overdo it, I'd say 40min x 3 a week is the most you should be doing.
I don't know how you can traing lags and back in the same day personally I couldn't give the muscles proper attention doing this. I'd say a better version of your current 3 day split would be; Mon - chest, shoulders and tri's Wed - Back and Bi's Fri - Legs on their own, making sure you warm up and get compound movements in for both thighs and hamstrings |

i would def take it easy on the cardio. also like Mr incredible said i would do legs on a seperate day because legs and back are 2 bigger muscle groups so you will need a ton of cals to recover from that kind of workout.
i like to train bi's and tri's togeather to get max blood flow through the arms.
