Female training ?
What are some good toning exercises that girls can do in a gym for their arms?
She runs around 30 mins on treadmill and 15 mins on Elliptical machine for legs. I suggested some preacher seat curls with very light weight. Maybe some flat bench dips or light push downs for triceps. Lower weight, higher reps.... She won't do much weight because she's afraid her arms will get "manly" She only weighs maybe a buck fifteen... real manly let me tell ya... Knox |

I'm not smart enough to give any good advice, but what he said about her testosterone levels is true. If she isn't on anything then she will not get manly arms so don't worry about that. Why dont you get her an appointment with a trainer or something?

I'll suggest the personal trainer. They just hired a girl at the gym I go to whom is very attractive, and supposedly knows a lot about fitness and working out. I don't know if she'd go for that though. If she could figure out what to do on the side, then she'd like that a lot better. Any other suggestions on exercises she could do? I'll pass along the advice about the manly arms/testosterone statement. Thanks

She's not going to get manly arms simply by working out. She can do any/all of the same arm exercises you do. I eithe super-set a bi and a tri movement, or alternate. I lift heavy the majority of the time and my arms are definitely not manly.
Is that all she does? Arms and cardio for legs? |
