Best MP3/FM Tuner To Use While training

Thinking about getting some type of device to use while working out, do not own anything now. There seems to be so many out there to buy. Any idea what to look forward.

What is easier to use while working out. The arm straps or hooked to the waist of your workout pants. Looked at some today and there are about 10 different brands with many models per brand.

Thanks in advance for input.

James

I love iRiver products and my gym pants have pockets for things like this so I prefer to put them to use...

hey Stixs, havent seen you in a while. if its JUST for the gym i wouldntworry so much 5,6,10G drives there going to be huge to carrry around. which is 10000 songs (I dont even like 10,000 songs)- but at least 1G or 512Mb. i wouldnt spend that much money on it. I crushed mine with a 120lb db. they are all the same. IMO the armband thing is ghey, but hey your wearing it not me LOL

good luck getting a FM signal

I agree with NYCM - you can get a fairly cheap one that will definitely work just fine for what you're wanting it for - I bought mine on Amazon - haven't had any problems. The FM signal is definitely weak as he said...

lol @ the armband being gay -- I'm a girl so I think I can get away with it...

oh - another good place to look is on apple.com -- they have refurbished iPods for great prices. Right now you can get the Shuffle for $29! It comes with new earbuds, lanyard, etc and they look brand NEW

TankGirl is on a distinguished road
i personally don't like the armband, as it gets in the way. i own an ipod 30 gig and i have one of them old school neoprene cases that you belt around the waist. i much prefer it around my waist than on my arm.
oh and having said all that, there is nothing better than doing cardio while watching/listening to scrubs on my ipod.

Thanks for the info. Was looking at the iriver, apple and sony sports mp3 player, will be getting one hopefully in next few days.

Definitely do not want to look gay while working out , so will skip the pink ipods nano and armband

hey Stixs, havent seen you in a while.
I guess I am getting old, it has taken a long time for me to recover from a couple of broken ribs which seem to put me into a down hill spiral of issues.
Plus kids and sport activities are taking all my free time. Football is done for my son, so now I have some time to get myself back into gym.
