Pilates

Anyone have any good "free" websites that show exercises to do? I was joking around in the gym last week and got roped into an advanced pilates class. I have never done this before. I did everything they were doing. It was funny watching me, but blahh I suck. I bought a ball and some bands to add resistance. It was the best ab workout I have ever done and it made my back feel better. If you have a link to a website showing some good moves, please post the link. This is one I found:

http://www.myfit.ca/exercisedatabase...e=free_pilates

I'm going to get serious about this for a few weeks and go back in there and redeem myself a little.

Thanks!

Knox

When I move to Pitt and join a real gym, pilates is something I was looking at getting into. It always seemed kind of girly until I saw how much positive effect it can have on your body and for body control.

I worked out with the class for about 45 mins. I thought it was kind of gay or girly acting and was cracking jokes. They joked around and told me "come on tuff guy, show us how strong your abs are". I said okay.... I grabbed a mat and a rubber band and got after it. I forgot how NOT flexible I am and it showed me how weak my core section really is. I could stand up quick or stretch out my abs for 3 days. It hurt like hell, but i like that kind of pain. After one workout, my abs are flatter and tonight after round 2 i think I am seeing more cuts. Gay, girly or whatever, I'm all about making improvements. I also have a blown disk between L4 & L5 and a herniated one between L5 & S1. I noticed relief in the everday pain/discomfort from this. I'll try it for a few weeks.

Any websites?

In all seriousness though; I want to try it out myself...Just too lazy to do it...I'm pretty flexible from doing Jiu Jitsu.
