10 x 10 vs Basic routines

Which do you think helps to put on mass quicker, working out doing the 10x10 system with one compound movement done 10 sets by 10 reps and one supplementary exercise afterwards with 3 sets OR just the basic 4 exercise, 3 sets each, lift as heavy as possible and tear my muscle up routine? Assuming diet is in order

There are more variables to your question like how often your lifting, what actual exercises youre doing, etc. Search threads started by Control for his upper/lower split. I switched to it for a while and I really like it. Remember too that one routine wont work forever, you have to switch it up every now and then.

Low sets, heavy weight, brief but often workouts have given me best results.
