Knee Cracking After Squatting

Have been doing full squats and not matter how much weight or how little weight my knees start cracking after first set. It does not hurt just sounds nasty. Then for the next week or so it just cracks everytime walk or bend. Again no pain at all.

Any ideas if this cracking is causing any damage. I know I should go possibly have it checked out at doc, but did not hurt so I have not bothered yet.

Thanks

Stixs

NYCmitch25 will become famous soon enough
your getting old LOL

sometimes loose objects in the knee cause cracking or cartilage (minicus) tear...abnormally shaped miniscus. 9 or 10 times its nothing to worry about.

noises without injury -
crunchy noises on bending - kneecap problem
pop in certain position - normal, or old meniscus tear or discoid meniscus
