yeah I would do them first...the only thing I would do before them would be machine pullovers to prefatigue my lats... I only do one body part per week so when I do dead its with my whole back and biceps workout. I just do less total sets because deads take so much out of me. on my non-dead days I do bent over rows as the first exercise.

man.... i allways do bentover rows second to deads.... then seated behind neck pulldowns, closegrip rows, then some kind of exts. somewhat in that order.when i do machine pullovers it allways last. so prefatigue them is a good idea? its just iv been messing around with my backtraining alot lately.

well I was just saying the ONLY exercise I WOULD do before deads would be pullovers since they only include the lats. I don't like tiring out my body as a whole with more extensive exercises prior to lats...you can put pullovers anywhere in the workout.

beefcake will become famous soon enough
Deads always come last for me. They drain me so much, I couldn't do anything afterwards.

well I should qualify mine since I train differently...I only do one working set. so I do two warm up sets of 135 and then hit my working set. so people who do multiple working sets might have different set ups in there workout
