What type of cardio do you prefer?

I rather lift weights all day long, but I do need to get some cardio in so... I usually walk it out on the treadmill at a nice pace and throw some hill action in there. When the weather is nice I usually do some light jogging outdoors.

One form of cardio I do truly enjoy is spinning. Not because of the cardio - it helps me focus. For some reason, when I get off the bike, my mental state is so positive and there is nothing that I can't achieve.

I hate getting on the treadmill or any piece of equipment for cardio. I play in soccer league (indoor and outdoor) and also a football league that starts up in the spring time. i have to play a sport to get my cardio in. I hate stepping on a treadmill. Only time I do is when I'm training for a show. That's it!

Bike, elliptical or jogging all for about 45 minutes at pretty much at the same intensity which can be somewhat high. Though HIIT is effective and I've done it for stuff like mile repeats and sprints, I do not enjoy it.

When I was in Miami...My cardio was Gracie School 2x's a week; sometimes more...But I love doing the Precor EFX 546 in manual mode...I put the incline at 20, keep the SPM at 185 for 35mns...

Running fartleks outside, or in case of lousy weather, interval training on the elliptical trainer.

I use an eliptical Machine, bike, or urg. Rowing is by far my favorite of any. I used to be on the crew team in High School. So much fun.

Some people can certainly get lean without cardio, but it's arguable how much functional fitness and health can be developed by weights alone. Cardio is short for "cardiovascular exercise", and it's called that for a reason.

I do HIIT run/jog/walk intervals on a treadmill with a DVD player in front of me. Cardio is boring as fuck, but I do it for health reasons since I'm not really interested in getting cut. Additionally there's arguments that cardiovascular exercise brings new pathways of nutrients into the muscle and develops your capillary network. Cardio is less fun than taking supplements that promise to do the same thing, but it's a lot cheaper and it actually does what the exercise physiologists say it does. Can't say that about most supplements.

yea, hannah and rado, i defiantly understand the health benefits that cardio offers. its just something that i dont do much of.

i do however walk my 2 dogs each day. i would guess the total each day would be a little over a mile.
