I think the only thing I've ever used 200 pound dumbbells for is shrugs.

just shrugs for me too. even that is a little awkward. when i go super heavy on shrugs i find that the barbell is just easier to use, grip etc..

I get the best results from shrugs when I go a little lighter and pull them up really high. It's almost like a dumbell upright row with the dumbells at the sides. The dumbells come up and away from the body. Kinda hard to explain.

yea, i dont care how strong you are, 200lb db's are just awkward. its not even all about the weight. its the pure size of the dumbbell that makes it almost dangerous to use for something like flat presses. you could see cormier about 5 seconds away from an injury. lol

the highest weight DB at my gym is 130lb and already use those for shrugs...

man this "sports club" is pretty sweet because it has everything i need....

Some of the people lift real heavy there, and you do see people that are on gear there

A lot of the hardcore lifters come in the morning and I end up training with them, nice guys though
