Smith Squats

I have to do smith squats since there is no better option at my dubious gym. Is there anything different in proper execution compared to normal squats, any particular points of interest?

I learned how to do squats on the Smith machine. I remember training with a few friends and they always told me doing squats on the smith help ensure proper technique and form.

Thanks, I'm 6'5'' so I guess I need it. Do you mean take a powerlift stance or just point your toes out?

perfect for you then!
un rack the bar get in you normal squat stance and then walk your feet out in front of you a bit. youll be leaning back some. when you go down this will keep you knees from getting in front of your toes.
