Fat loss
i'm a college athelete so that let me lose some fat around my stomach, my upper 4 pack is hard and visbile ( not ripped but visbile) but my lower abs and my obliques are fat. When i hit the lower abs i can feel muscle but I want to get my hips and love-handles smaller. I really have no idea how to do it, i'm not eating alot (cafe food sucks) and i am in season so i am doing running
1) Should i do 15 mins of cardio on my own? 2) I do not eat alot but sometimes after practice( could be 8 or 10 at night) i'll eat a hot pocket or micowaveable hot dog. I know these are bad but i feel since I do not get enough cals that i cna eat shitty I wanna lose these love handles, there not bad but i really wanna have a tight stomach and preserve as much muscle as possible |

Re: Fat loss
Lets pick this apart one thing at a time. . .
Quote:
To preserve muscle see answer number 2. . .and you need to be hitting the weights 3 times per week. I don't know what you do as an athlete but you are making the same mistakes that a lot of guys and girls make. . .crappy diet will kill anyones performance and it sure sounds like your diet sucks at the moment (sorry, had to be blunt there I see this all the time; coaches concentrate on the performance of the event but don't back it up with some sound diet advice (mostly because they usually don't know jack about it) No matter what the sport if you aren't eating right you won't be performing up to scratch!
