Consumption of alcohol and training

I'm 5'9 180lbs with a figure much like a Roy Jones Jr.

However I drink at least a 1/2 liter of any hard alcohol avalaible everynight...hell I'm in Baghdad getting shot everyday and night. I have to take the edge off to send these mother f*ckers to meet Allah. I avoid beer because sh*t my abs are ripped and I don't need the carbs. Does drinking this much harm an athlete? Research says that drinking in moderate consumption is ok but who's to say whats moderate? What yall think

LOL, I cant even beleive this is a question. Brutha, not only do you have a alcohol problem, but you are gonna end up having serious kindey and liver problems. I would never drink like that nor would any doctor advise this amount to be ok. Who's to say what is moderate? Well moderate to myself and probably to many doctors and others around this planet would say a glass of wine at dinner. But moderate to you would be a whole 'nother ball game. I didnt even want to touch this thread because it just seemed foolish to even ask if we would think it is ok to drink a 1/2 liter of hard liquor/ed. Oh well, to each their own. I feel for your wife and kids if you have any if you are going home everynight (when you supposely get back) and drinking this much daily. Lets hope you arent serious or get help.

I'm just Keepinitreal.

I'd say lay off the hard stuff. Just like KeepinItReal wrote, it's gonna screw up your kidneys. Red wine and some brewskies are better alternative. If you're worried about carbs, they have lots of new ultra-low carb beers out now. Studies seem to say that a bottle of beer a day is good for you. I would say that this is "moderation" It has lots of minerals and B vitamins.

I think people freak out about alcohol and training. It sure as hell beats drinking like that and not training! Obviously you wouldn't want to drink like this when you were on orals, but to each is own!

kevin Levrone drinks ALL the TIME!!
