I'm not so hungry yet that I'm ready to chew my arm off yet, except at night. My cardio just got intensified this week, so I'm sure it will get worse. My fasting time increased as well, so I'm just waiting. I've really noticed that I am most hungry after my nightly cardio session; which is after my last meal. And, in the AM before my first meal. I really don't feel like cheating, that's the funny thing. I mean, sure an almond or two tastes good, but I can stop myself. I'm really surprised I don't want to annhilate the whole can! LOL. This has really been a new way for me to look at food: it is truly there to fuel our bodies. taste is secondary. NOw, I'm sure after my shows I'll wonder what I was thinking! THis is just such a mind set and so much focus it's actually somewhat amusing.

4 weeks out. 138lbs, 9.8% BF. I'm starting to see major changes from week to week. I'm actually going to have abs!!! My BF pinches dropped to 23...down 2 mm from last week, and down 2 more lbs. I have 13.5 lbs of fat; so I need to lose about 6 more lbs of fat. (Women usually have about 6-7lbs of fat on stage)

My suits came in today!!! The end is near!!!

This weekend I'll be taking more pics, so I'll take them in my suits...I haven't even tried them, I hope they fit ok...If not, I know a good seamstress. I was thinking for the night show of putting some rhinestones or sequins or something...when I post up my pics, tell me what you all think!

Well, I tried on my suits last night and wondered- WHO in the HELL did they make this for???? I will have to take it to a seamstress to have her sew some loops for the strings in the back. I paid an extra $16 to have them sew some pads in, and they make it look utterly ridiculous...so, I took them out. Overall, I'm pleased with them, except for the extra sewing. My morning suit is a turquoise wet look and the night show is a deep purple glitter (looks really cool!) But damn, they sure are short !! There's enough material to cover my JLo, but barely there in the front!! WTF!! After trying it on, I realized I will HAVE to get a Brazilian wax. There's just no way I can get around it.

Got on the scale this morning.....136!!!! WTF!!!! That's like 2 lbs in 4 days.....and carbs were even added to 2 of my meals this week!! The past couple of days I have been really hot...keeping the air cranked at 71, no covers at night!! I felt really tight this morning, and the daily progress is getting me excited. I think my estrogen is finally coming to a halt; making those last few lbs come off and tighten me up.

I started working on my posing routine last night, does anyone know how to mix music?? For my 1st show I'm doing Fuel's "Falls On Me", but I'm having trouble queing it to where it sounds decent. For my second show...when I'll be super shredded...I'm doing "Another One Bites The Dust" LOL!!!! Sonis about fell out of his chair when I told him!! He said, "You better be super shredded if you're gonna do that song!" LOL. I have about 13 spots for different poses, and still have 3 slots to fill. Does anyone have any ideas on some unique female poses??? I have all the mandatories, and a couple we thought of, but drawing a blank for the rest.

I do but I don't think they'd go over very well for your purpose.

I'm so excited for you! This is my favorite thread on the board right now.

Well, sonis gave me a bit of a scare last night, and he made some changes. I was posing, and all of a sudden he's like "No more sprints!" I asked why, and he said because he thinks my legs are shrinking!!! I said, "WTF!?!? Don't you think it's because I'm dieting, and there is fat loss rather than muscle loss???" He said he didn't know.....WELL, I decided to take matters into my own hands. After I did my cardio, I got out the measuring tape. Come to find out, my legs went from 24 to 23. When my legs WERE 24, it was back in February...when I was a complete cow @ 162lbs!!!I'm totally happy with 23. Everything shrinks when you diet...duh!! I made sonis do all the measurements just to gauge my progress. I only lost like 1/4 in. in my arms. My chest lost 4 inches...but that's mostly because I went from a good C cup all the way down to an A!!! Shoulders lost like 1 inch. @.5 inches around my waist, and 2 inches around my abs. @.5 inches in the hips...gotta love the JLo effect.LOL! So, overall, I'm pretty pleased with being able to keep most of my size. I

As for the changes, he told me no more sprints...just in case, and he upped my protein. I'm taking a "good fat burning combo" right now, and it is starting to work, so he is trying to avoid any muscle loss. That's why that combo is so tricky. If you don't watch it, and I mean DAILY, you can really burn up muscle...no matter how much AAS you take. I'm lucky sonis was there. I told him my morning weight and after the posing is when he decided to make the changes.

Very smart to get the tape measurer out, sounds like that action calmed down the jittery nerves, which is great.

Puddles, roflmao, good one

Pics are looking good, you have great symetry and nice mass, so if you and sonis can dial it in.......

Let's know when to begin the vigil of constant karma coming you're way .

Enjoy the day, lol

Well, pics are at the developer now...

3 weeks out: 134lbs, 9.2% BF. Had to add a ton more food in this week as well. I'm eating so much protein right now, I feel like I'm bulking. I also had carbs added back in. Fats were cut , though. No flax, no egg yolks, etc. Cardio has been increased to 3 times a week at midday.

As you all know, my first show is in Tunica, MS. When I got the entry form, I was confused because the Middleweights said they were now 125-140. Well, I looked on the NPC web site, and it turns out- it's true. I am so pissed. My goal was to come in at the top of the middleweights, not the bottom. I don't care so much about the classes for Tunica, but it really pisses me off for my state show. I'll weigh in around 126, and probably be about 128 on stage for that show, worst case. The goal is to get a big enough rebound from the Tunica show to put on a couple of lbs of muscle. I was told the week after my 1st show, I'll probably be eating about 300gms of protein to try and gain a couple lbs.

That totally sucks. The only way it MAY work out, is if there is enough girls to warrant a Light Hvy class....which means there would have to be about 20 girls show up for the Middleweights. At that point, I would have to weigh in at 125 on the button; THEN I would be at the top of the middleweights.

I know the goal for everyone should be to come in the best condition, and not to worry about what weight class. Well, that's all fine and dandy, but I just am so pissed I'm going to be at the bottom. The only good thing that could possibly result in this, would be I will be up against other females who are a good 2-5 inches taller than I am....which being 5'4", could MAYBE be an advantage. And I also know they are going to look for the best overall condition.....it just really sucks when you expect to be at the top, only to find out you'll be at the bottom. I should have checked sooner, I guess.

I am extremely discouraged. I lost 4 lbs in a week, and only a little over 1/2% BF. These last couple weeks will probably only be 1/2's....bringing me in around 8% for Tunica, and if all goes well, around 6.5-7% for the state show...But I just can't stop thinking about being at the bottom of a class. Basically it's mixing the Middle's with the Heavy's....WTF.

rs,

You've had to do a thousand things right to get this far, why are you taking a hammer and smashing it over you're head over this one oversight, it just adds stress right now which you don't need .

You've done you're best, you will continue to do your best, and you will be you're best

In the end when it is all over the trophy will be the confidence that has grown inside of you , cherish and shine that confidence everyday, do not tarnish it with a few bad thoughts

good luck

we're all on pins and needles, this is like a good novel, can't wait for the end

I know it's like cutting off my nose to spite my face. And you're right- I don't need the stress. But, it's almost impossible for me to ignore. Yes, I am going to come in the best condition possible. And yes, weight and class shouldn't matter. Hell, a lightweight won the overall at the 2003 JR USA'S.

My confidence is lowered for the time being because now I have to totally realign my strategy...lol.. This means I am going to have to come in SMOKIN ripped for the state show....That is the intention, but being at the lower bottom of the class means condition is going to mean that much more. I am just petrified that I will be up against girls who maybe a couple inches taller, but weigh 10lbs more than me, and maybe they are in equal condition...ie.; Amanda Dunbar. She's the same height as me, but weighs 135 on stage. I know she's a national competitor, but you get my concept.

I know I'm reading way too much into this. But like you said, it's just one more thing I shouldn't be worrying about...but how can I not?

Well, the answer to that question is in the book I'm working on, lol

Best bet is to continue on as normal .

It's a issue of focus, you're reply was focused on a half dozen problems that you have zero control over, and you've already addressed them, ie, with training, etc. , you're focusing on stuff that has an extremely low probability of you coming up with a strategy to combat that you are already using

When it is all said and done, ( lol, I'll say it again ) it will not be what's in your post that effects you're life positive in the future it will be what is in my post, in a month this will all be over, it is what will have happend to you on the inside the extreme growth of confidence in having lived a dream that only the bravest of brave even attempt, enjoy your inner victory

Anyways, after the show we can talk

trip

Yes, it's an issue of focus and attitude. You have to do an Arnold and feel like you are a king or governor of California. Imagine that. No wonder he used to win all the time.

You are absolutely right. I need to walk up on to that stage and emmanate the presence that I am the biggest and leanest girl up there, even if I'm not. If you don't feel big, you won't show the judges you are big. I guess attitude does have a lot to do with all of this....but I never knew how extremely mental even the smallest detail can be!

Close, part of it, is determining, making the decision, WHICH small details to be mental about , and allowing yourself to let go of the other small ones that only zap your emotional energy , at this point in the quest it is about no one but you , you have zero control over how many, how tall, how big and what BF all these other maybe so called competitors will be , so try not to focus on such things

Tommorow I'll post up a relaxation technique that may help .

Enjoy the cardio!

@#$%^*$*!!!!

What a rollercoaster this week has been, and it's just Tuesday!!! Well, for my 1st show, the weight classes are 125-140 for middleweights. We just got my entry form for my state show and get this: THE WEIGHT CLASSES ARE DIFFERENT FROM ALL SOURCES AND PROMOTERS!! WTF!! Last year NPC lightweight was: 118 and below. Middleweight: 118-132. Heavyweight: 132.5- over. My first show, the classes are as follows: Light- 125 and under. Middle- 125.25-140. Heavy- 140 and over. NOW, for the 2nd show here are the weight classes: Lightweight: 114 and below. Middleweight: 115-125 1/4 (I will be 125!!! ) Heavyweight- 125.5- over.

Could they confuse everyone anymore?????

2 weeks out....

Total caliper pinches: 20 mm.
Weight: 131
BF- 8%!!!!

Well, we're in the home stretch now, kids. I lost no muscle last week, and 2 lbs. of fat. The goal this week is to lose one more %. My BF pinches need to be in the high teens for the 1st show. So, hopefully with the diet changes I can lose 1-1.5 more mm's. Cardio was dropped a little bit, but so were carbs. Protein is where it was. I can see changes in my body daily. I really can't believe how different I look just from Thursday when I took the pics.

I ordered some Yohimbe to help tighten up my glute area for the first show. If it works, great. Hopefully, by the time the 2nd show rolls around, and I benefit from some rebound, my body will respond by losing that part in that area. I also notice that I really am holding on to about 6lbs of water. That makes me somewhat relieved to know that it's not all fat. My abs are getting harder, I'm even seeing some veins in the front delt area!!

I have also noticed that I can barely fit into any of my clothes!! I'm swimming in most of them. I go from being able to wear about 3 pairs of pants to a wearing the stuff I wore 3 years ago!! LOL. It just sucks that you can't stay like this all year round...well, and have a life!
