Best Ab Moves

What excercises do you feel give you the best ab burn? I figure that weighted crunches etc. give the best results. What do you girls find are the best moves for abs?

I'm not a girl, but what gives a good burn is hanging leg raises. Those work wonders.

Leg raises are good, but not all the time. Unfortunately many women use their hips to swing and end up using their hip flexors more than their abs.

I use the balance ball often. Sometimes I'll get a medicine ball and toss it as I go up and down. Other times I'll put my feet on a wall at a 90 degree angle...that really burns.

I also get the rope and go use the cable pulleys and kneel and pull down. I don't use many machines. The make it to easy for your body not to use the abs and core muscles for the movement.

As with anything, you need to continually change your movements in order to see good results.

help is on its way

just as with any exercise, go to failure on any ab exercise you choose...mix it up....do not stay with the same exercises....there is no one great ab exercise...we are all different....find yourself and shoot for the moon....and don't forget your diet.....you may already have a great 6-8-pack hidden behind layers of fat...

My favorite crunches are when I'm laying on the floor with my legs extended and my heels are just a few inches off the floor. I go till failure with a few reps holding the squeeze up for a few seconds and lowering down really slowly.
