So close...

I am so close right now to just saying fu*k the whole show thing. I am exhuasted all the time. I feel like a string bean. I don't feel my BF is where it needs to be. I haven't picked up my updated pics yet, but I can only imagine I won't be happy. Pinches are: bi- 3.5, ab- 5, tri- 6, scap -7, illi- 7, leg- 8.5,
I don't know what to do. I lost another lb. so far this week, and can only lose a MAX of 2 lbs by show time in 2 weeks. We actually had to add even more food.

It's my first show. I know a woman's body will only lose so much BF before it starts lose muscle. Am I at that point? I know LBM is partly water weight, and with the supps I am taking attributes to some superficial muscle loss. Apparently, I'm the body type that holds more water generally than others . I just keep racking my brain wondering how I'm going to look. The anticipation is killing me. I'm the type that if I don't look presentable, I will flat out NOT GET ON STAGE.. But then again- did I do all this work for nothing?? And I know I'm doing something most people will never do....

I need a pep talk.

Thanks, K. The worst part about this whole process is that my husband is my trainer....making it extremely difficult. His one and only job right now is to maintain my LBM as much as possible, and get me super lean, maniplute water, you know.. That being said, he's under serious stress to make sure his wife looks good on stage, so the love and support department had been deserted for quite sometime.

sana will become famous soon enough
everyone needs to learn what works for them and what doesn't. keep at it, i'm sure you'll come in right on. you're working hard and busing your rump. just keep listening to your hubby and keep doing what feels right for your body.

we all have to start somewhere. this is your first time, you'll learn from each successive comp. you'll do great - just stay focused and don't lose faith!

Once its over, you can go back to enjoying life, enjoying food, having time to do the things you missed out on doing while training and dieting. You can look back on the whole process and be proud of yourself. You won't have any regrets.

Triple A post Keiser

Self-crticism is good and very motivating, that is it's strong point.

The weakness of self-critism when raised up several notches is it destroy your ability to enjoy life and yourself.

It will be tough at this point, yet, try and focus on what is right rather than what is wrong, your enough of a realist not to deny problems, at the same time do not deny your own accomplishments because your dealing with some problems still, we all deal with problems everyday, thatsa life.

Anyways, we are all pulling for you, living vicariously through you, in certain ways we wish we had your guts to even try such a goal, in simple terms you are doing heroic work.

Heroes are all around us everyday doing great things if we would just take the time to stop and look.

The funniest thing about this is, although I have no expectations to go and win my weight class at the first show, I have every intention of winning it at the second show.....and I 've never competed before!! LOL.

And I just found out- Technobarbie and I will be up against each other.

Thanks, T. You always bring me back to the reality of the whole situation.

Hun...he's in training mode for you now but he's also in his own version of husband mode by making sure you stick to what you need to in order for you to reach your goals! (I work for my husband...I swear my husband and my boss are two different people at times, but because we know each other so well, we know how to push each other's buttons to help one another succeed and stay motivated...sometimes it ain't pretty. LOL) If he didn't care about you so much he wouldn't be so critical. He wants to see you succeed so you are happy with your own work. Love and support...every hear of "tough love"? That's what he's dong now. If he didn't care about your true goals he'd be running to the store to buy you some ice cream because "a few bites won't hurt." He knows you well and will help you the best he can...by being tough on ya now when you need it most. Being hard and ripped is your goal, so him being soft and mushy with you isn't gonna work, just suck it up and work through it...a little bit more and you'll be where you need to be. When you're done you can both look back and be proud of how you worked together for this.
