laser hair removal ...bikini area??/

my moms friend is an aesthetician and she said she would do a session on any area no charge!! yay!! would it hurt like hell to get one done on my bikini area?? ive gotten brazilians before but want to check it out! also how far away from a show should i get it done?? ill probably get it done within 2 weeks and then again if i need it before my competition. and what will it make your skin look like the next few days afterwards??

Laser hair removal is the same as electrolysis. You still have to keep going back every 3-4 weeks until it's all gone. She may do the 1st or 2nd at no charge, but that's not going to be enough if you want to avoid hair growth in that area. Laser is expensive, so just FYI.

The laser will leave red marks on your skin, but nothing like waxing. YES- it would hurt like hell to get it done in that area. Just like electrolysis. With waxing, it's over in one swift swoop. With laser, they have to go into every little follicle.

Schedule your appointment for 5-7 days prior to your contest. You never know how your skin will react to the tan.
